Temus is proud to be recognised as one of the committed employers supporting AI Singapore’s AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP) – a key initiative shaping Singapore’s national AI ecosystem.
At ATxEnterprise 2025, IMDA announced plans to partner with AI Singapore (AISG) and the industry to launch two new frontier training programmes, which will provide another 400 AI Practitioner job and training opportunities for locals. This new wave of industry collaboration aims to accelerate tech adoption, build deep AI capabilities, and strengthen cyber resilience with advanced technologies like Generative AI. As part of this momentum, we’re honoured to be among the companies stepping up to hire and nurture local AI talent through programmes like AIAP. This recognition reflects our continued commitment to powering Singapore’s AI ecosystem and building our local digital talent pipeline.
As of 2025, Temus has proudly hired and supported multiple AIAP graduates who are now delivering high-impact, AI-driven solutions across the public and private sectors. With 1 in 4 of our AI engineers coming from AIAP, their stories reflect not only individual transformation but also Temus’ belief in nurturing talent to transform technology. Outside of AIAP, we have been actively recruiting interns from local universities and institutions. In the 4 years since we’ve been established, about 30 student interns have been trained by our AI & Data team, including 6 from NUS High.
Read about some of our AIAP graduate stories here:
Seow Yuxin, Senior Associate, AI & Data Delivery, Temus
Yuxin began her career in a Regional Operations role at Shopee, where she led digital transformation initiatives and developed data analysis skills. Her curiosity in machine learning deepened as she worked on projects that applied ML to optimise daily operations. Wanting to better understand AI/ML and communicate more effectively with technical stakeholders, she joined the AIAP. The programme gave her hands-on project experience, including the opportunity to work on an edu-tech platform powered by LLMs and GPT-4. After graduating from AIAP, she joined Temus’ AI and Data Delivery team, where she now delivers AI and data-driven solutions — including the use of GenAI to automate document generation workflows, improving productivity by up to 80% in some cases.
Khaw Jia Hao, AI Engineer, Temus
Before AIAP, Jia Hao was pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics, driven by a passion to apply analytical skills to real-world AI challenges. Through AIAP, he gained immersive, hands-on experience that equipped him to confidently transition into the AI field. At Temus, Jia Hao works on impactful projects such as developing Thai-specific speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems, building an end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform to enhance enterprise information retrieval, and creating intelligent AI agent chatbots integrated with Microsoft Teams to streamline workflows and improve collaboration.
John Ang, Associate Director, AI & Data Delivery, Temus
John helps clients navigate the crossroads of business, data, and AI with broad experience across consulting and engineering. After graduating from NYU with a degree in Finance, John worked in banking and later at a startup before switching to tech through AIAP. Since then, he has designed and delivered AI projects across industries, including healthcare, insurance, technology, and the public sector. Before joining Temus, John served as Product Manager and Assistant Head of AI Advisory at AI Singapore, where he brought cost-effective AI tools to market. His achievements include implementing a predictive model in a hospital to forecast patient complications, redesigning an AI process automation tool that scaled its user base 5x, building a med-tech app using computer vision, and pioneering Singapore’s “AI For Everyone” outreach programme.
Lim Ee Suan, AI Delivery Manager, Temus
Ee Suan holds a double degree in accountancy and economics and started her career at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), where she supported MNCs in expanding operations and led digital transformation projects, including EDB’s first digital performance dashboard. During a no-pay leave stint in Germany, she discovered a deep interest in AI, which led her to AIAP. There, she honed her expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and NLP. She led a team that published two NLP papers in top venues and later co-founded a digital consulting firm. Now at Temus, Ee Suan leads business development in the AI x Data team, designing and demonstrating AI prototypes that integrate AI thoughtfully into digital solutions for government agencies and private companies. She remains passionate about building AI that is intelligent, intuitive, and inclusive.
Paul Soh, AI Engineer, Temus
Paul was previously a production support analyst at Mthree, supporting forex applications at Morgan Stanley. His foray into AI began in early 2023 through AIAP, where he built an end-to-end pipeline for far-field audio processing. His capstone project, which earned third place, involved advanced ASR models, voice activity detection, and a full Kedro/PyTorch/MLflow/FastAPI stack. Post-AIAP, he joined a local fintech startup and contributed to a GenAI robo-advisor using LangChain and LangSmith — improving consistency and speed in financial analysis. At Temus, Paul works across data engineering and AI projects. His contributions include designing Spark-powered pipelines for a carbon-credit trading platform, architecting immutable NoSQL layers, and supporting the migration of a statutory board’s legacy database to a modern, scalable infrastructure.
